DescriptionPosition Summary:

Position must ensure that all systems and procedures related to payroll are consistently administered based on company needs and government regulations. Prepare payroll for bi-weekly and monthly processing; maintain employee information in the HRIS system.

Ensure accurate records for disbursements by performing a variety of standard, repetitive and intermediate level bookkeeping, payroll and/or accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 *Update payroll records for employee information for taxes, benefits, deductions, and earnings changes.

 *Review, prepare and input payroll data using payroll system for biweekly and monthly payrolls.

 *Produce accurate and timely payrolls, for multi-locations based on local, state and federal regulations and company polices

 *Process employee garnishments (wage garnishments, child support and levies) on a payroll basis

 *Reconciliation of payroll and payroll tax information on a payroll basis.

 *Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (including 941, 940 and W2 forms).

 *Processes tax liabilities for tax reporting and payment, which includes balancing of taxes on a monthly, quarterly and year-end basis.

 *Process employee withholdings for third party vendors.

 *Prepare disbursements for distribution, internally and externally

 *Reliable resource to internal customers.

 *Display high level of customer service.

 *Perform administrative functions such as maintain and organize files and information.

 *Communicate projects, plans, and prioritizing needs to Supervisor.

 *Perform other duties and assist others when needed.


• Equivalent job experience or related college courses

• Previous training or 3+ years of experience

• Computer skills

• Knowledge of payroll rules and regulations

• Intermediate to advance Excel skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Must be able to handle multiple projects

• Changing priorities and be deadline sensitive

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

• Physical requirements associated with normal office working environment.

• Ability to operate standard office equipment.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
