DescriptionPosition Summary:

Overall responsibility for creating and improving supply chains across the organization. Creates robust, cost effective supply chains that meet the needs of the customer and are sustainable across the organization. This position is also responsible for developing

and leading the execution of plans to achieve service objectives. This includes but is not limited to resolving supply chain constraints, optimizing the supply plan, and achieving schedule attainment targets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Continuous education on supply chain objectives to the team.

  • Leads the Operations Planning group on identifying areas for supply chain improvement. Aligns Operations with Corporate Planning Objectives.

  • Leads the supply chain team to improve the supply chain including but not limited to: forecast, fulfillment, inventory, scheduling, planning, suppliers.

  • Provides recommendations on sustainable supply chains to management and the executive team.

  • Owns the Corporate metrics used to govern the supply chain.

  • Evaluate new technologies and benchmarks for world class planning systems. Use this finding for problem solving, system functionality and utilization, and improvement of the supply chain systems.

  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators to measure progress toward strategic goals.

  • Responsible for creating new supply chains for new product releases. Responsible for the sustainability of these supply chains as they are transferred to the operations group.

  • Make recommendations on the supply chain (including inventory control, production control, job shop and assembly production scheduling, purchasing, raw material, customer service, literature, marketing, management, etc.) to New Product Development and Supply

Chain Review team.

  • Responsible for gaining support of the supply chain projects through Supply Chain Reviews.

  • Investigate and define opportunities for improvement within the new product development network.

• Identify supply chain issues (internal or external), develop tools to better identify these issues where needed, and lead working teams to resolve these issues

• Create and provide updates on supply chain health to internal leadership (management and executive team) and external parties (distributors and customers)

• Assess, develop, and improve supply chain strategies to achieve customer service level expectations for both high/low volume, and planned/unplanned demand

• Work with other business units to collaborate and lead supply chain solutions that optimize organizational resources, improve customer satisfaction and maximize revenue

RequirementsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:


Education: A four-year college degree is required, preferably in supply chain or operations management.

Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain along with manufacturing operations knowledge. Minimum 2-4+ years of experience managing or supervising operations and supply chain.

Skills: Strong problem solving. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good understanding of MRP and fulfillment policies and procedures. Possess the ability to interact with a variety of diverse people in a complex environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
